I used to like to weave things for my mother. My mother died last September. But before that I would weave things and send them to her. She was living in a different city. And our family has a joke about sheep eating grass. So I weaved her a blanket that has little inlaid sheep on it. And I used to take the train to Toronto, often. There's places along the train track from Kingston to Toronto, where you can look out over Lake Ontario, and you see the lake and then there's just often a bright line right where the lake hits the sky. And so I wove that into the blanket. So you can see that, I think it's a picture of the blanket hanging over a chair and you can see the little sheep. So I was really happy to be able to send that to my mom and let her know that I was thinking of her.
